“Valentine’s Day” is set in Floral and Hardy, a flower shop run by Frenchman Maurice Hardy, whose clerks, chronic dater Matt and love-skeptical granddaughter Chloe are both instantly smitten with a handsome customer on, you guessed it, Valentine’s Day! This musical, for which I wrote the book, music and lyrics was mentored by Ryan Scott Oliver, and chosen as the winner of the Foundation for New American Musicals’ ShowSearch competition in 2019. It has been performed at UCLA, as well as The MAIN Theatre in Santa Clarita.
