Pop and R&B

As a pop and R&B songwriter, I have been awarded the Marvin Hamlisch International Music Award for best R&B song, presented by Clive Davis. I’m a YoungArts and Grammy Camp winner, in the singer-songwriter category, the 2nd Place winner of the ASMAC Ray and Jon Charles Vocal Arranging Competition, and the winner of the 2024 ASCAP Foundation Sammy Cahn Lyric Writing Award. I have worked closely under the mentorship of Chris Sampson, the founder of the Popular Music Program at USC, who has helped develop the careers of pop artists such as Remi Wolf, Alec Benjamin, and Kari Kimmel. During my time at USC, I have worked as a songwriting mentor for USC MTR’s “Off The Record,” and started the pop-jazz fusion band Blue Frequencies. We recently released our debut album, “Frequently Blue.”
