I am a certified theatre geek! I have written the book, music and lyrics to four award-winning musicals. My first musical “The Middle of Nowhere” was mentored by Stephen Schwartz, Randy Brenner and Stormy Sacks, and performed at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, CA, as well as part of The Foundation for New American Musicals’ MUSI-CAL event at the Reefer Den. My second musical “Mr. Steiner’s Masterpiece,” mentored by Val Vigoda and Vanessa Claire Stewart was one of twelve winners and the only musical in the 27th Annual Young Playwrights Festival. My third musical “Valentine’s Day,” mentored by Ryan Scott Oliver, was the winner of the Foundation for New American Musicals’ ShowSearch competition and has been performed at UCLA, as well as The MAIN Theatre in Santa Clarita. My fourth musical, “CORONA’S CABARET: An Act of Destruction” won the Audience Choice Award for Playbill’s first ever Virtual Theatre Festival Live, and was the winner of the Foundation for New American Musicals’ ShowSearch competition. I am currently in the process of developing my fifth musical, “The Dream Department,” which I workshopped in Benj Pasek and Justin Paul’s Songwriting for Musical Theatre Class and was selected as a finalist for The Dramatists Guild Foundation’s National Fellows Program.
