I learned so much under the mentorship of Sarah, Andrew and Thomas as they guided me in writing an original chamber composition “Ballet d’Isolment Covid”. I asked my classmates at the Los Angeles Ballet Academy how they felt about dancing on Zoom during the Pandemic lockdown and wrote this piece based on their responses. It was beautifully performed by Boston’s HUB New Music Ensemble (violin, cello, clarinet and flute) Later I co-choreographed and performed Ballet d’Isolment Covid at the Los Angeles Ballet Academy as part of my senior recital.
