Michael Feinstein’s Great American Songbook Academy

In the summer of 2020, and then again in 2021, I was one of forty finalists selected to participate in Michael Feinstein‘s Great American Songbook Academy Online. The Songbook Academy is a national summer music intensive based in Carmel, Indiana that provides a wonderful week of workshops and masterclasses led by Broadway performers and other entertainment professionals. In 2020, my mentors were Jeff Harris and Lynne Rothrock and I performed “Little Jazz Bird” by George and Ira Gershwin. In 2021, my mentors were Elaine Moebius and Melanie Shore and I performed “I Love A Piano” by Irving Berlin. I had an incredible time both years and learned so much!
