On September 29th, my original musical “The Middle of Nowhere” was performed at the iconic Reefer Den in Hollywood, as part of The Foundation for New American Musicals’ MUSI-CAL event. “The Middle of Nowhere” takes place in Nowhere, Oklahoma- a real town, believe it or not, and follows the story of two adventurous teenage girls – Abi and Lili. Lili is proud to be from Nowhere and wants to accomplish something big in their small town to put Nowhere on the map. Meanwhile Abi is desperate to get out of town to Memphis to pursue her career as a singer-songwriter. Directed by Evelyn Halus, Music Directed by Thomas Griep and Choreographed by Ryan Murray, the band featured Jack Majdecki, Ryan Roberts, Nick Stone, and the cast starred Kathryn Madigan, Landen Starkman, Chad Doreck, Ryan Murray, Valerie Perri Lipson and myself!
